Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online) The bowlers' camp will begin at Gaddafi Stadium tomorrow before Australia and the 2-day camp under the supervision of Waqar Younis, the bowling coach of the national cricket team, will continue till Sunday.

According to details, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sources say that the selection committee has invited 13 bowlers who have excelled in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy and the National T20 Cup. Shaheen Shah Afridi has also been summoned to the camp.

Bowling coach Waqar Younis says the aim of the 2-day bowling camp prior to the tour to Australia is to evaluate the performance of the bowlers while the selection of the team for the series will not be limited to the campers only. The selection committee will select players based on Australia's conditioner and game format.

According to sources, Misbah-ul-Haq, the chief selector and head coach of the national cricket team and Test captain Azhar Ali will also review the bowlers' performance. According to sources, Bilal Asif, Bilawal Bhatti, Imran Khan Senior and Kashif Bhatti were summoned to the camp. Likewise, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Irfan (sniper), Musa Khan, Mohammad Mohsin, Nasim Shah, Rahat Ali, Samin Gul, Shah Afridi, Tabash Khan, Yasir Shah and Zahid Mahmood are among those invited to the camp.
